Cream sugar, butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and yolks.
Add flour, baking powder, nuts and poppy seeds, rum and milk.
Beat the egg whites until stiff and gently stir into the dough.
Pour into a greased, sprinkled with crumbs Guglhupfform and bake at medium heat for about 50 minutes.

If you like you can cover the Gugelhupf with chocolate icing.
