For the apple pie, mix the curd, milk, oil, sugar and salt. Mix flour and baking powder and stir into the curd mixture by the tablespoonful. Then knead the dough well with floured hands.

Roll out 2/3 of the dough and put it into a mold. Cover well with apple compote. Roll out the remaining dough thinly and cut into strips. Place as a lattice on top of the cake.

If desired, mix an egg yolk with 1 teaspoon of whipped cream and brush the lattice with it.

Bake in the heated oven at 200 degrees on the lowest shelf for about 30 minutes.
