Preheat oven to 200 °C. Coat the yam roots or sweet potatoes all over with Íl. Bake for about 45 min until they pierce slightly.
Meanwhile, in a baking bowl, mix the butter, chopped scallions, berries, brown sugar, crem de cassis, salt and pepper. Knead well with a spoon or electric hand mixer.
When the yams or sweet potatoes are cooked, remove from the heat and divide. On each half put a good unit of the onion-berry-butter mold. Bring to the table hot.
Pair well with a hearty pork chop or smoked ham. Garnish the plate with whole berries.
Tip: It is best to use your favorite ham – then your dish will taste twice as good!
