For the apple chocolate cake, peel the apples, grate finely and sprinkle with lemon juice. Sift the flour with the baking powder into a bowl. Mix the flour vigorously with the sugar, butter, eggs, cocoa powder, melted chocolate and milk. Squeeze the apple strips well and add to the mixture. Mix everything for a few minutes to a homogeneous dough.
Line the bottom of a 26-cavity springform pan with baking paper and grease the sides of the pan well. Bake the cake for 50-60 minutes at 160 °C convection oven. When testing with chopsticks, slight residue may remain as the cake is very very moist. Let the apple-chocolate cake cool in the pan and then turn it out.
