For the chocolate-vanilla pancakes, separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites with the salt until stiff. Mix egg yolks with vanilla sugar, sugar, baking powder and flour. Add milk as needed – the mixture should be nice and creamy.

Now divide the mixture. Stir the cocoa powder into one half, and the vanilla flavoring into the other. Finally, divide the beaten egg whites in half and fold each in.

Melt the butter in a pan and pour in some batter (8-10 cm in diameter). Fry the chocolate-vanilla pancakes over medium heat for about 5 minutes until golden brown on both sides.
