For the chocolate orange cupcakes, preheat the oven to 160°C top and bottom heat. Place the paper cups in the muffin tray.
In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients for the muffins (except for the chocolate chips). Beat oil and eggs until fluffy, add orange juice. Add the dry ingredients one spoonful at a time. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the molds and bake for about 30 minutes. Let cool completely. Mix the ingredients for the topping, pour into a piping bag and pipe onto the muffins.
Sprinkle the finished chocolate orange cupcakes with the chocolate flakes and enjoy.
