Peel the apples, remove the core, etc. and grate finely.

Beat eggs and sugar until foamy. Add nuts, flour, starch and oil and mix well with a mixer.

Pour the mixture into a cake pan and bake at 190 °C for about 30 minutes. Then spread the grated apples on the cake and bake for another 10 minutes.

Whip two egg whites and 80 g of powdered sugar until firm. Pour the beaten egg whites over the apples and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Bake at 210 °C for another 10 minutes to set the snow topping.
