A delicious strawberry recipe!

In the afternoon, your baby should not have milk porridge: Together with milk in the morning and evening, this would lead to an overfeeding of egg whites. The little kidneys are not yet up to this. Millet is not only a source of carbohydrates, but also of iron. The germ oil ensures that the fat supply is correct, and the fruit provides vitamins. If you are on the go, you can add the fruit puree to the porridge on the spot. You can feed it lukewarm or cooled down – especially when it’s hot.

Add millet flakes to water and gently toss for about 4 minutes until flakes are cooked. Mix the oil into the porridge. Clean raspberries. Cut banana into small pieces. Mash banana and raspberries together, pass through a fine sieve to remove raspberry seeds. Infuse the millet porridge with the fruit sauce.

Variants: you can exceptionally vary the puree with mild fruits, pear, sweet crumbly apples like Cox Orange, peach and nectarine can be peeled and crushed raw. Use elderberries, plums, apricots and cherries only stewed as compote. Watch to see if your baby is sensitive to a particular variety. Some babies become sore from fruit acid.
