For the baked apple tart, roll out the shortcrust pastry about 3 cm larger than the tart shape, place in the mold and press up the edge. Mix the curd, cream, yolks, 2/3 of the sugar, custard powder and lemon flavoring well. Beat egg whites with remaining sugar until stiff and fold into curd mixture.

Pour this mixture into the pastry-lined pan, top with the unpeeled apples, cut in half and cleaned of the core. Form small balls from about 1/3 of the marzipan and place them in the middle of the apple halves. Coarsely grate marzipan, mix with chopped almonds and cinnamon. Crumble this mixture over the baked apple tart.

Baking temperature at hot air about 170°C.Baking time 60 minutes, plus 10 minutes resting in the oven.
