Instructions:

For the beet salad in a jar, first peel the beet and cut into slices or cubes as desired (it is best to wear rubber gloves for this).

For the marinade, put all ingredients in a well-sealed container (e.g. jam jar) and shake well. Marinate the beet with it.

For the horseradish cream, mix sour cream with crème fraîche until smooth, add horseradish and season with salt and pepper.

Pour into glasses first a layer of beet, then cream and then beet again. Serve the beet salad in the glass.

The beet salad in a jar can be wonderfully transported. You can also garnish it with fresh horseradish.
