For the crumble, mix sugar, almond kernels, fruit muesli, flour, scraped vanilla bean and salt. Melt the butter and slowly pour it in and mix everything well.

Place berries in a large ovenproof dish, as shallow as possible. Pour the crumble on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 °C for 30 to 40 minutes. Serve while still warm.

Preparation Tip:

If you use red cranberries, sprinkle an additional three to four tablespoons of sugar over the fruit. Otherwise the crumble will be too sour. If desired, sprinkle a tablespoon of flaked almonds over the crumble before baking.
