Coarsely grate the chocolate and heat in the milk until the chocolate has dissolved. Cool. Melt butter (1), add flour and stir until light yellow. Add the chocolate milk and whisk until smooth. Make sure there are no lumps. Allow to briefly bubble, cool and stir through with the egg yolks.

Whip egg whites with sugar until stiff and fold into cooled chocolate mixture.

Grease a gratin dish with butter (2), pour in the chocolate mixture, place in a large gratin dish filled 2 cm high with water and place on the broiler in the preheated oven. Bake at 200 °C for about half an hour.

Tip: Do you prefer milk chocolate or dark chocolate? Depending on the case, use whichever tastes better to you.
