Instructions:

Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes.

Chop the onion into small pieces.

Mix onion, potatoes and meat, season with salt and pepper.

Add water or clear soup and stir until smooth.

Sift the flour into a deep bowl and add the lard. Add a pinch of salt and knead into a firm dough, adding a little cold water.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 6mm thick.

Cut out circles 10 to 15 cm in diameter.

Put some meat mixture on each circle, moisten the edges, wrap towards the center and press together in a wavy shape.

Bake on a greased tray at 200 °C for about an hour, reducing the temperature a little after 20 minutes.
