Instructions:

For the curd slices, make a dough with flour, baking powder, egg, sugar, vanilla sugar, butter and milk. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

For the curd topping, mix the curd with butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, cornflour, salt and lemon zest and spread on the dough. Bake at medium heat for about 20 minutes.

Make a meringue mixture of egg whites, marzipan, powdered sugar and melted butter, fill into a piping bag and pipe diagonal stripes on the baked slices.

Fill apricot jam into a piping bag and squirt between the stripes. Bake again briefly at 190 °C. Cut into slices when cool.

Preparation Tip:

Instead of apricot jam, you can also use another jam for the curd slices.
