Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

For the casserole, first separate the eggs, mix the yolks well together with the sugar.

Mix the curd cheese, sour cream, semolina, corn starch, pudding powder and baking powder until smooth and stir in the yolk/sugar mixture.

Beat the egg whites and the salt to a firm egg white and fold in carefully. E

grease a baking dish with melted butter and pour in the curd cheese and semolina mixture, sprinkle with the washed and grated currant.

Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for about 25 – 30 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
