For the fruit eyes, crumble the butter, flour and baking powder and quickly knead with all the other ingredients to form a shortcrust pastry. Leave to rest in a cool place for half an hour.

Then cut out slices of about 8 cm in diameter. Place fruit on one slice and place the second slice on top. Press the edge firmly and cut in the middle. Brush with egg.

Bake the fruit eyes in the oven for about 15 minutes.
