Instructions:

For the Grütz dich cake, cream butter with powdered sugar and vanillin sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one by one.

Mix flour with cocoa and baking powder, sift over the top and fold in. Pour the batter into a springform pan (26 cm diameter) lined with baking paper on the bottom and spread it up to the edge of the pan. Place the pan in the lower half of the preheated oven.

Cut the cooled cake in half 2 times. Reposition the cake base with the springform pan edge.

For the cream, mix well the groats with powdered sugar. Prepare the gelatin according to the instructions on the package and stir in well while still warm. Whip the crème fraîche with the whipped cream until creamy and fold in well. Assemble the cake with the cream. Chill for 1 hour.

Whip the cream with cream stiffener. Spread the Grütz dich cake with it and decorate with grits.
