For the honey rings, prepare a yeast dough from the ingredients and let it rise for 15 minutes. Roll out the dough (halfway) into a rectangle.

Fill with honey, cinnamon, granulated sugar or to taste and roll up. Place paper cups in muffin tins and fill each with 1 teaspoon honey.

Cut dough roll into 12 rolls of equal thickness and place one roll in each muffin tin. Let rise for another 20-30 minutes.

Then brush with honey and bake the honey rings in the preheated oven at 160 °C for about 15 minutes until golden brown.

Preparation Tip:

If you like, you can sprinkle the honey ringers with chopped almonds.
