Instructions:

First, wash the plums, cut them in half and remove the seeds. Bring to a boil in a saucepan with the cinnamon stick, reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes. Transfer to cool and set aside.

Separate the eggs. Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff, add granulated sugar and beat until sugar dissolves. Add the egg yolks, the raisins (if desired), the cornflour and the liquid whipped cream to the beaten egg whites.

Spread some butter in the baking pan, pour half of the Kaiserschmarrn mixture into the baking pan of the Philips Airfryer hot air fryer and bake at 170 °C for about 7-9 minutes.

Check the cooking point with a wooden skewer and turn out onto a plate, split with a fork. Repeat the process with the second half of the mixture.

Divide the pancake between plates, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve the Kaiserschmarren with plum and cinnamon toast.

Preparation Tip:

Kaiserschmarren can also be prepared without raisins. With rum raisins it gets a fine aroma.
