Beat egg whites to snow. Beat yolks, vanilla sugar, rum and granulated sugar until foamy. Fold in milk, flour, raisins and beaten egg whites.
Put about 2 ladles of batter into a greased pan and bake on both sides at low heat until golden brown.
Tear into small pieces and serve garnished with powdered sugar, applesauce and sliced almonds.
Preparation Tip:
Instead of applesauce, it also goes well with stewed plums.
