Instructions:

For the pepper steaks, preheat oven to 100°C. Coarsely crush pepper (mortar). Cut meat into 2-3 cm thick steaks and sprinkle with the pepper.

Fry in hot olive oil with the rosemary for 1-3 minutes per side until brown. Remove from pan and let rest wrapped in aluminum foil in preheated oven for about 15 minutes.

Cut leek into thin rings, onion finely. Sauté onion in olive oil until translucent. Add leek and green pepper and sauté briefly.

Add cream, salt and simmer for 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and mustard. Take the steaks out of the oven and mix the meat juices with the sauce.

Place the pepper steaks in the sauce and serve.

Preparation Tip:

The pepper steaks go well with oven fries and roasted broccoli.
