For the polenta muffins, bring the milk, water, butter, salt, pepper and nutmeg to a boil. Stir in polenta and simmer on low, stirring repeatedly until polenta is nice and soft.

Keep adding a little liquid as needed. Finish the polenta with some whipped cream and fresh herbs.

Fill the polenta into muffin cups, sprinkle with freshly grated cheese and refine with some paprika. Bake in the oven at 160 °C for 10-12 minutes.

Then turn out and serve.

Preparation Tip:

If you like, you can also prepare the polenta muffins with bacon cubes.
