Instructions:

Prepare the shortcrust pastry with all the ingredients and let it rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Remove seeds from zucchini, cut into slices about 5mm thick and boil briefly (3-4 minutes) in water, rinse with cold water, drain.

Finely chop onion and fry with bacon cubes without fat. Line tart pan with shortcrust pastry and form a rim. Sprinkle dough with 100 g grated cheese, put a layer of zucchini, spread onion-bacon mixture on top, crumble feta cheese on top, finish with a second layer of zucchini.

Prepare a glaze of 4 eggs, sour cream, creme fraiche, chives, crushed garlic cloves and salt and pepper to taste and pour over zucchini.

Spread tomatoes over the tart, sprinkle with cheese again and bake for about 50 minutes at 180 degrees. Let cool a little and only then cut the tart and serve.

Preparation Tip:

The zucchini and bacon tart goes well with a fresh crisp lettuce salad and a cold yogurt and horseradish sauce.
